If you want to live and work in Germany, you must have a good command of the German language. If you want to achieve this goal quickly and effectively, our intensive courses are the right choice for you. Here you learn full time. Did you grow up with a different alphabet or are you inexperienced in foreign language learning? Then our literacy courses are just right for you! These special courses are characterised by a slower pace and individual support in small groups.
Insider tip: Do you have questions about work, housing or your residence status? The Bénédict School also supports you beyond learning German: The German Red Cross offers regular consultation hours at our school.

You would prefer learning German from the comfort of your home without having to deal with long commutes? We recommend trying our online courses! In our virtual courses you’ll learn on a computer or laptop with an experienced teacher in constant exchange with others.
You want to learn online but don’t have the technical means? Not a problem! For a deposit we can lend you a tablet for the duration of your course.

Course description.
You want to get your German to a high level, but have limited time outside your job? Then you should attend one of our B2 evening courses. Our experienced teachers with business know-how will get you in shape for the workplace.
By the way: We are one of the few schools in Cologne that offer B2 courses in the evening.

Work-related German language training (Berufsbezogene Deutschförderung, DeuFöV)
Course description.
You have already completed your integration course and would like to further improve your German language skills? You can participate in our work-related DeuFö courses with a BAMF, Jobcenter or Agentur für Arbeit eligibility certificate. We offer courses at levels B2 and C1. The courses finish with an official telc examination.

We offer tailored language training for companies - flexible in terms of time, space and content. Whether in groups or individually, we get your employees in shape for negotiations, presentations, telephone calls, e-mails or small talk.
Insider tip.
Small and medium-sized enterprises with up to 250 employees can claim a grant of up to 500 € per participant with a Bildungsscheck (education cheque).
